“Showtime” Lives Up to the Name: Ikaika Stoner Captures 2026 National Junior Golden Gloves Championship

Some fighters announce themselves. Others put the entire country on notice.

At just 9 years old, Ikaika “Showtime” Stoner did exactly that by capturing the 2026 National Junior Golden Gloves Championship in the 55-pound division, adding another prestigious title to one of the most impressive young résumés in amateur boxing.

Representing Stay True Boxing, “Showtime” traveled to Texas for his first-ever National Junior Golden Gloves tournament and returned home with the championship trophy.

Already a PAL National Champion and Mike Tyson Invitational Champion, the Hawai’i native continues building an impressive collection of titles while developing into one of the country’s most exciting youth prospects.

Now calling Las Vegas, Nevada home, Ikaika proudly carries his island roots into every competition, representing both Hawai’i and the growing boxing talent emerging from Southern Nevada.

Despite his success, what continues to stand out most is his humility.

Following his championship victory, Ikaika made sure to thank everyone who helped make the trip possible—from his sponsors and family to the friends who supported his journey. He also showed respect to his opponent, reminding everyone that true champions carry themselves with class both inside and outside the ring.
